I love to read other's blogs and I get great ideas about things I should put on my blog but as you can all see blogging is not my strong point. But this is my pledge, I 'm going to do better!! Mostly cause Rick just got a new lap top and he can see the video that I post again. So here is my first official post for the week and I promise to try to do at least one a day (expect on the weekends cause daddy is home then and he can see it all for himself)

I miss my dad

About every two to three weeks it hits me again...he's not going to call me this Sunday. I miss him so much. I miss... his corny jokes.

his love for being outside

his love for my boys

his joy in life.

I miss everything about him, even the stuff I complained about. These pictures show him in his daily life. He was always wanting to go to the park and play or just climb around the rocks in the desert. Sometimes I get so sad thinking about the fact that my kids will never know him, will never have those times with him. While on this earth they won't get to hear his stories or feel his testimony when he lays his hands on your head. I know I will see him again and hear his voice again, but for now I just really miss him.

I'm s sucker what can I say? The kid sees this pez dispenser at Wal-Mart and I just can't help but give in. You can't not love pez, specially when that Seinfield episode pops in your head...you know the one :)

Trey's new sippy

Trey's speech therapist told us we needed to ditch the baby sippy and get Trey a couple cups with straws...so far he was enjoyed the upgrade. I would be willing to get rid of them all around be it is the only way we can keep him hydrated during long sprinkler work days.

Stacie sent Trey this great truck set that Matt has out grown. We got it in the mail today and Trey already loves it. Thanks Stac!! Your the best.

Ouchy for Trey

On Sunday we were all out chatting in the yard while Trey and his friend played in the truck bed. All of the sudden they both leaned over the tail gate and somehow unlatched the gate and it opened. They both came tumbling down on their heads. Here is a picture of my road rashed boy and a movie of him trying to tell me about it.

Sorry, it took me so long to add anything to this blog. I am still awaiting the day that we will have internet at home and I won't have to use my lunch hour at work to check my emails. Everyone is doing great. Porter was only a few days old in these pictures, he is now almost three monthes and a chunk to boot! The kid is huge compared to my skinny-mini Trey. Feeling Large and In Charge

I didn't have time to take a picture this morning, but man am I feeling like a pregnant mamba-jamba. I am wearing a shirt that I hardly filled out at nine months with Trey, and those numbers on the scale just keep a climbing, yikes! All that my mid-wife can say is "great weight gain." But really when else in my life is any health care professional gonna say that to me, I might as well enjoy it while I can. I'll post a picture soon.

As of about two days ago I have felt a little stirring in my tummy, really it feels more like a twitch right now but luckily I know there is baby in there and not some repeat of last night's dinner. I love this part of being pregnant! I am finally starting to really show and now I am feeling him/her swim around, it is really fun. Trey has yet to really notice, I think he will get pretty mad when his favorite bed (he always crawls up on top of me around 5am) turns into a beach ball. I am still really sleepy, but hopefully I will get on some thyroid meds and they should perk me up. The house is moving right along and it looks like we should be in by June or July, hope hope.

I love my baby! I was just looking at a few pictures and really liked these few. I'm looking so forward to having another little one in our house. Even though, I was recently informed that I don't look pregnant, more like I just ate too much (thanks Jan and Sue :P) and if I have another night like I did last night (thanks grumpy Trey) I might go completely crazy, I am still really excited to have another one.

Yeah for family!! My sweet niece Samantha was baptized this past Saturday and she happened to ask Rick to perform the baptism for her. It was so great to be able to see most of my family, even if it was only for a day. Of course I forgot my camera, but my mom’s hubby, Blair was kind enough to email a few pictures.

Ok last one for the day. For YW we did tile pictures and I wanted a cute little family shot, so we ran down to the Snow College Richfield and took this. It will probably be our only family picture until the new baby comes. It was really sunny that day so we are all a little squinty

Our last snow was a little while ago but I though these were soo cute! Trey didn't love the snow but Maggie sure does. I think it took longer to get his gloves on then the total time he stayed outside :)

So sorry that I have not posted anything forever! I keep forgetting my camera at home and I figure just text is pretty boring sometimes. I finnaly remembered it today and wanted to post a whole bunch a pictures, so bare with me. This video is of Trey hiding in his favorite spot, and yes that is duct tape on the door of our fridge, we are true Central Utah rednecks!

It was the middle of my Sophomore year of High School, I was working at KFC or Papa Johns ( I can't remember which) I think I had a crush on my friend's boyfriend (yuck!) and I was applying for the Congress/Bundestag scholarship for foreign exchange.

What are some bad habits of yours
1. I'm an interrupter. Which I am sure makes most people a little crazy.
2. I'm almost always late
3. I'm a bit of a neat freak, which really only bothers my husband, cause he gets yelled at for not picking up after himself.

Five things people don't know about me
1. I love to play in the dirt! Luckily I married a man who loves it too, and of course my son is following suit.
2. I love to play kids playground games. That is our main activity when my sister's and I get together. Red-rover, crab walks races, toilet tag...all of those. We claim it is for the kids, but I'm not really sure.
3. I love to mow the lawn and shovel snow. I know I'm weird.
4. I like to organize things. When the baby is napping I almost always find myself cleaning out my files or clean out cupboards.
5. I'm scared to death to decorate my new house. I'm just worried it won't turn out and then I won't have any money/time to redo it.

Food Fight

Yes that's right, Rick is teaching Trey to to throw food. The funny thing is Trey would rather have the food thrown at him then to actually toss a single carrot. I have yet to hear him laugh quite as hard.

About a week before Trey's birthday Rick brought home a sweet little puppy, against my will, but I was won over quickly. They both needed a bath this night, and while my co-workers at the health department would probably die if they saw this, we thought it would be fun. It was untill Maggie (the dog) had enough and jumped out onto a new dried and happy baby Trey. Needless to say that was a one time trick.

Trey's 1st birthday was on January 7th. He wasn't so intrigued by his cake but loved his new "shoot the balls up in the air toy." Yes, that is daddy lounged out on the floor with his belly hanging out.

So I am at work, suppose to be working...but I was running short of things to do and started reading some of your blogs. It made me really want the internet at home (something that I just can't justify in our budget right now, but will be added once we are in the house, hope hope) After loving searching through each of your blogs I thought, that's it I have got to do my own. So here it is, in all it's simple glory...until I have time to come in after hours are make it cute :)
